Features:

  • Ergonomic design: Seamless integration with most helmets, our counterweight pouch is cut from premium laminate material, allowing it to conform smoothly to the helmet's curvature without creasing or kinking. The cuts can also be used for wire management for headsets or battery packs.
  • 5 Slots for Non-Toxic Weights: Our counterweight allows for precise balance adjustments tailored to various setups. For example, configurations such as binoculars with clip-on thermals may need additional weight on one side for optimal stability. Additionally, we selected brass over lead for the weights, avoiding the health risks associated with lead.
  • Built-in features : We’ve added cuts to our hook-and-loop interface, allowing you to use it as cat-eyes or to store a chemlight. This feature is ideal for range days with friends or when following unit SOP.
  • Optional mohawk : For more complex setups requiring additional equipment such as strobes, recording devices, or thermals, an extension can be added to expand the counterweight’s storage. (Incoming)
  • Secure attachment: Our counterweight attaches securely to your helmet and is designed for quick removal, thanks to our unique helmet buckles included in the package. No hook-and-loop interface on your helmet? No problem! Our counterweight is designed to work seamlessly without it. To address compatibility issues, we provide different attachment options, but they all have one thing, you don't have to remove your scrim in order to install the counterweight.

FAQ section

Frequently asked questions

I want to add stuff to my previous order, what should I do?

Just place your second order and write in the notes the order number you want to combine with. We'll reimburse the difference for shipping if needed.

My gear is fraying and small strings are coming out, is it normal?

Yes, it is normal wear and tear.

Can Tegris be bent?

Yes, BUT you'll want to refer to the product's instructions. Some of our products are designed to be bent while others are not.

Does laminate material tear more easily than traditional nylon?

Laminate material is actually more resistant and tougher than your traditional 500D Cordura.

The laminate is manufactured by combining 500D Cordura to 1000 Cordura with a glue. This results in an extremely abrasion-resistant material.

It is because of this very material that we can create designs that could never have been possible with your traditional nylon.

The elastic material on my product has black string coming out. Is this normal?

That is normal wear and tear for elastic materials. It is only one of the few hundreds of elastic strings that composes the width of the material.
